I’m Jeannie Oliver, functional nutrition and wellness coach.

We do this by getting to the root cause of what’s making you feel less than amazing, modifying your nutrition and fitness to nip it in the bud, and building out personalized routines.

Functional medicine is an approach to health that looks at the full picture of what’s going on in your body and world—including lifestyle, genetic, and biochemical factors—to come up with a unique treatment plan for the individual body.

There are amazing doctors in this world, but our healthcare system allows too many health problems to fall through the cracks. You might walk away with a prescription—one that treats the symptom, but not the cause.

Through my work with clients over the last decade, I’ve found that there are plenty of tools at your disposal you don’t need a prescription for, starting with food. 

And when you learn how to use those tools together, you’ll begin to see that your full potential was just under the surface this whole time.

I know what it’s like to feel like a shell of your former self.

From thyroid issues to chronic pain, mental health struggles, eating disorders, adult acne, weight struggles, and fatigue—to name a few—my own health issues have run the gamut since I was a kid. You can watch this cool video that WeWork did about my story a few years back.

I’ll never forget the doctors who took me seriously and finally gave me the diagnoses and treatment that led to my healing after years of struggle.

Which is why my mission is to give you the guidance, tools, and support you need to understand your body, advocate for your health, and feel like your best self.

Some fun facts about me!

• Before becoming a Nutrition Coach, I studied biology, graduated from culinary arts school, and worked as a nutrition counselor with world renowned doctors in a chronic illness clinic. My certifications in health and nutrition coaching, emotional eating, sports nutrition, and personal training help me design a well-rounded and holistic plan that’s unique to you.

• I’m passionate about social and environmental justice and donate 10% of gross profits to charities supporting women’s rights, food sovereignty, sustainable agriculture, humane farming, and animal rights.

• When I’m not cheering on my clients’ breakthroughs, you can find me sweating it out in the sauna, paddling my surfski, or cuddling with my rescue dogs and cat, Jasper, Furgus and Momo.
