Why Body Liberation Together?

It’s never to late to prioritize your health, but I wish I’d had something like this 20 years ago!

For YEARS I struggled with thyroid issues, chronic pain, mental health, eating disorders, adult acne, weight struggles, and fatigue—to name a few. I was on antibiotics almost nonstop from birth through my early 20s, and my gut was a disaster.

I tried everything I thought would help, I saw doctors (they didn’t listen), I was given prescriptions (they had other crappy side effects), I tried diets (the results didn’t last).

It wasn’t until I found Naturopathic and Functional Medicine doctors who did the lab work that helped get to the root cause of what was impacting my health. I gradually changed my diet and learned how to workout in a way that built me up instead of breaking me down. I learned to nurture and fuel my body, and treat myself with respect.

Since letting go of the bullshit dieting mindset of trying to eat less, exercise more, and punish my body, I no longer have trouble maintaining a healthy weight and choosing foods that serve me well. I also learned how to indulge in ways that are fun and satisfying but aren’t detrimental to me.
